Innocent Ujah Idibia, universally recognized by his stage name 2Baba (formerly 2Face Idibia), was born on November 18, 1975, in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. Although born in Jos, he proudly hails from the Idoma ethnic group in Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State, Nigeria. 2Baba's professional music career officially commenced in 1996 when he co-founded the musical trio "Plantashun Boiz" in Enugu. He established the group with Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, popularly known as Blackface, and Chibuzor Oji, known as Faze.
