Early Life and Background

Adamu Maina Aliero was born in 1957 in Aliero, a town located within the Aliero Local Government Area of present-day Kebbi State, Nigeria. His early life was rooted in the northern Nigerian community, where he received his foundational education. After his ministerial appointment, Aliero returned to the Senate, this time under the People's Democratic Party (PDP) banner. He was elected Senator for Kebbi Central in 2011 and served a full term until 2015.
